Seagull attack

The boat floated despite its precarious position during the night and after a ‘blood to the head’ sleep we were up at 3 am to see us safely en route to sunny Whitby
This is a lovely town but if you ever visit please beware of seagulls.
Despite clear warning from the cockle lady to cover our pots we dropped our guard and were systematically attacked with clinical precision by this seagull

The attack is always sudden and ruthless, and the collateral damage is such that you can’t help spilling cockles which are eaten at leisure.
Seagulls rule this town
The marina is great the entry straightforward and the town is steeped in maritime history

..... can’t wait to having a good  look round tomorrow
