Bashing the waves to KRISTIANOPOL

In our endeavours to make some headway southwards we left Kalmar bright and early and spent all day beating into strong South Westerly winds and eventually ended up in Kristianopol.
This is a sleepy port where the evening was spent listening to a singer entertaining the elderly residents . This has now been supplanted by a loud rock band singing covers from the 60s & 70s
My crew has excelled today in difficult conditions. Jane steered all the way and Martha remained calm and reassuring despite some big waves and strong head winds.
Tonight we enjoyed a relaxed meal aboard Calismarde in company with the delightful crew of Bonita.
Let's hope it's less rough tomorrow
No wifi so no photos today
